While going through my drawers last week I found these petrie dishes and had forgotten that I still had them We were given these as mementos at each of the implantation days for our in-vitro fertilizations. I remember getting them and thinking how I would put them in my scrapbook after I got pregnant. Well, that never happened. Looking back I don’t feel the loss I would have expected. Finding these ten years later. Instead of gratitude for the miracle of science I was counting on I feel incredible gratitude for the miracle from God that brought Lauren and Jackson to us.. I wouldn’t have changed anything for the world.
