Journaling:
I wanted to be a lawyer, starting in the 4th grade.
As I became older, I held fast to this dream. I dreamed of attending University of Missouri-
Columbia Law School and immersing myself in piles of law books. I dreamed of standing in a courtroom,
holding the jury in my hand, while making the bad guys pay. I dreamed of being a judge and handing down sentences worthy of the crimes
committed. I dreamed of becoming the world’s youngest woman Supreme Court Justice. Alas,
those dreams were never to become a reality, as a certain young man came into my life, along with a wedding ring and a little bundle of joy. I set my dreams aside, knowing that they would languish
and die.
