Tell Your Story Challenge "When I grow up" using my school picture from last year...I don't usually scrap pics of myself, so it feels kind of weird!
Journaling:
When I was in the 3rd grade, a family friend gave me a huge chalkboard and an old teachers edition English text. From that moment, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. I would play “school” for hours and I would play all of the time! I loved it! Throughout high school I tutored at the elementary schools and even joined Teacher Cadets! However, after graduating from high school, my career took a different turn and I entered the world of computers and IT. Although I liked my job, the idea of teaching was always in the back of my head. I decided to go back to school and pursue my Masters Degree in Education. I am so glad that I did because as a teacher, I feel as though one of my dreams came true. I love my job. Not many people can say that and I am so glad that I am someone who can!
