Darth Turkey

Journaling Reads: I am not a parent who is fond of ‘family’ home projects. They always seem a waste of time with very little educational value gained. So, I was not thrilled when Noah brought home a photocopied turkey on cardstock with the directions to disguise it so that it wouldn’t be slaughtered for Thanksgiving. This turkey sat on the island for several days until we realized the due date for this assignment was fast approaching and we needed to get to work on it. Many ideas were tossed around, but thanks to Glen’s more creative abilities we settled on Darth Vader. Noah liked the idea and we all took part in making the best ‘Darth Turkey’ we could. I must say, it turned out very cute and this was one ‘family’ project that turned out to be quite a bit of fun.

This is awesome! We had to do this challenge too. We dressed ours up as a Christmas present. Great way to scrap this memory!
