I am a novice gardener, I have been gardening for about 2 years, but got serious last September.
I am a plant rescuer. I buy the nearly dead babies from Garden Centers and bring them back to life. Sure I've had some failures, but majority are thriving and it's such a joy to watch them grow.
I like to talk to my babies when I am watering and weeding at night. And I am convinced they are better for it.
I have a bench on the porch, so I get to just sit there and soak in the peace and the prettiness. Truly a sanctuary.
