Journaling reads: On Good Friday, Mom and I went to Notre Dame Cathedral to sightsee. We were surprised to see that Christ’s Crown of Thorns was out and people were lining up to pay homage to it! We quickly got into line; as I approached the Crown, my hair stood on end and I felt so humble, speechless and small as I looked at this thing of torture that Jesus endured wearing for us. It was an experience that I would never forget!
