Journaling Reads: After 2 years of having Disney passes, standing in front of Cinderella’s Castle for a picture is not anyone’s favorite thing to do. To me its a document of how much you have grown and how often the castle’s appearance changes. To you three it’s one more thing standing in front of the rides. This was our last trip to Magic Kingdom for awhile. We decided not to renew our passes for at least another
year or two.
To me it is bittersweet. Gone will be the getting up at 6 am on Saturday to drive to Orlando frenzy and trying to pack for us all on Friday nights. Gone also will be the fun we have talking to each other while standing in line and sharing our opinions of the ride or pointing out new things that we see have been changed. I look forward to coming back here in a few years with you girls and seeing how much you’ve grown and what you remember from these past two years. I know that the “magic” will still be there, just in a different way.
