At the end of our seminar, everyone gathered on the steps outside of the hall for a picture. Of course, most everyone had a camera, so we were there awhile snapping pictures as a group, with each other, and with the professors. Over the course of the week,
I think we all left a little inspired (and tired).
We had learned alot about The Great Depression
and the War, plus, we learned about one another
and what we do as teachers to help kids learn.
It was neat to see that although we were from different parts of the country, we all had the same purpose. To teach kids to the best of our abilities. Afterwards, we got together at a trendy bar a few blocks down from Columbia, and proceeded to get tipsy.
