We live in Texas and snow almost never happens. so when it showed up Christmas Eve 2004 I was way too stoked over it. In my mind...it was a bonafide Christmas miracle to snow on Christmas Eve in Texas. I threw on the biggest coat I could find, a scarf and a Santa hat and took my time enjoying the snow. My sister and I even scraped up enough to make something passing for a snowman that year. I know the rest of the country seems to care less about snow but even today in my 30s I still geek out as much as I did when back when I called it a Christmas mioracle.
