You were so proud of earning the trophy for second place in the fourth grade in chess club this year. It was a well-deserved award, Steven; you’re a very good chess player. You enjoy playing whenever you can find someone to play with and you’ve been working to improve your skills. We played a few days ago and you beat me easily!
