This is my final entry for the Stand Up and Scrap contest. Unfortunately I missed the deadline (ugh), but decided to create my entry anyway, so that's why I am adding it to the "Play Along Gallery"! :)

If someone would have told me a month ago that I would lose my job and start college in less than a month, I would have told them that they were crazy! My job seemed secure (having just gone full time and gotten a raise) and while college is something I always wished I had done, it wasn’t top on my mind. Yet here I am, 26 days after losing my job and in my second week of college! Wow! This has definitely been an amazing twist of fate! I am extremely excited to be a student and to imagine what the future can hold for me once I get the all-important degree to add to my resume! One of the very best things about starting college is the reminder that I am actually a smart person! I scored top of my class on the very first Humanities test and I plan to work hard to continue to hold that honor!
