JOURNALING:
(AT BOTTOM OF PAGE:) The Blue-Footed Booby is a marine bird native to the eastern Pacific area. Many live on the Galapagos Islands. Their blue feet come from the fish on which they feed. Males will "dance" to attract a mate, or sometimes bring the "intended" small gifts of nesting material. The brighter blue the feet, the more attractive they are to potential mates. The female is slightly larger than the male. Their name, from the Spanish "bobo," means silly or foolish.
(THOUGHT BUBBLES:) Auk! He calls that "dancing"?!!
Look! She's gobsmacked by my moves!!!
