The boots drawing is one of mine (I have scrapped pages here with this one before) the rest is all pure Val's creativity {Little Butterfly Wings), and equally creative Raquel from Sweet Doll (which I only JUST realized scrapping this collab who she is and I have loved her for almost 15 years!!! Still have Boutique Cute Doll kits I scrap!!!)
I have gotten amazing presents in many forms, toys (the talking doll in the operation just before I started walking aged 5, but I have made so many pages about that one) events, trips and dearly, very dearly, gifts from God I couldn't possibly choose, like people entering my life, but as I can't choose from the big ones (would take me a lot of journaling to scrap that and my hands and right arm are on waiting list for operations, so can't scrap for type much) I'm going for a material one that gets to my top 5: My real Cowboy boots. When we started seeing each other, my husband gave them to me, we were shopping at the Oxfam Charity Shop (thrift shop to you in North America?) and these were 5 pounds, granted this was 30 years ago, but even then, it was so cheap for what they really cost at the time. One of the things that I was so sad after my operations in 2003 failed was that I can no longer wear them (I need a shoe rise as they left me with one leg longer than the other apart from the nerve damage..) anyway, I never gave them away, still have them and treasure them!
