Journalling:
My father always taught me to believe in myself and I think it was one of the most important lessons I ever learned from him. I’ve been relatively successful in life and I think it’s due to the belief in myself he instilled in me. He told me often that I could be whatever I wanted. I’ve kept good grades while going to excellent schools and am in a profession where thinking is key. Only a few years ago did my dad tell me that I had scored somewhat low on my IQ tests as a child - he had never told me before because he did not want it to limit me in my belief in myself. I think it was a successful strategy.
