#25 - Motherhood
I guess here is where I try to describe what motherhood is like. You know, that's harder to do than you'd think. Where do I start in describing the overwhelming depth of love I feel for my beautiful girls? How do I really convey the sweet joy that settled in my heart the day they were born? How do I write about the way my heart squeezes every time they're in danger, or even just when they cry? How do I define the heights of my own happiness when they do something as simple as smile or laugh or play. My thoughts are constantly filled with every little thing they do. I wish I could find stronger words. Blessed, fortunate, honoured and fulfilled do not even begin to scratch the surface of how I feel about being their mum. I do know one thing though - I wouldn't give up this role for anything.
