I did this for the Sugar Free Challenge to scrap a negative in something you love....
Journaling reads:
I love being a mother. I love having 2 girls that keep me active and alive. I love that I can wake up each morning and hold you just because or giggle with you at silly things. But being a mother has its down sides and challenges that test my inner beliefs and values each and every day. It is tough to say “no” to you because I know that what you are asking is not needed or practical at that moment. Believe me I want to say yes and make that sad look melt away but I know I am right. It is tough to see others hurt you and not want to go in and just take care of it myself! It is tough seeing you hurt and sick - I would rather I felt all your pain and hurts. It is tough watching you grow up and exercise your independance - I would prefer you always stay small and totally dependant on me. The world is a scary place and because of that we have rules - very strict rules and I hate that I have to do that to protect you because often these rules make very little sense to you. Yes, I love being a mother to you girls and although there are some parts I don’t entirely like to do - please know that I do them because I love you and want the best for you.
