journaling:Being a mother was always my dream. From the time I was little, I planned on being a teacher and then being a stay at home mom. After your dad & I got married, we waited until I had finished my Masters Degree and then we were ready to have a family. Only it wasn’t that simple. We tried for almost 9 months and finally got pregnant-but at 6 weeks, I started to bleed and the next morning, the doctor looked at the ultrasound and sadly told us that the baby's heart wasn’t beating. Grandma & Grandpa gave us a beautiful white mum to plant in memory of our first baby and every year it blooms and I remember. It was about nine months later, after fertility tests and several rounds of Clomid, that we found out that we were pregnant with Abby. The first few weeks were scary-waiting for that 7 week ultrasound, but then when we saw that little bean and the flickering heartbeat! Life has never been the same! I am so blessed to have three beautiful children who call me mom.
