Easily one of the most underrated National Parks, Badlands is one of my favorite places I've visited. Even on this rainy, overcast day, it was so beautiful. There are prairie dogs and buffalo roaming about along with birds of prey and so many critters in the nooks and crannies. This land holds many fossils and an abundance of Native American history... once freely explored by the Sioux Nation and used to host many native rituals and for hunting.
