We didn't go to see Sister Act the musical when it was in the West End (think London's Broadway) can't remember why, (probably because I wasn't sure as I had LOVED so much the movies, didn't think anyone could match Whoopi Goldberg talent) so when I saw it was on at the South Wimbledon Theatre to start the UK tour, we booked it and off we went, even though is in the opposite side of the city, the disabled discount is great there and they always put on fabulous musicals. When it started we were both so taken with the amazing talent of the whole cast, but mainly the main role of Delores, played by someone totally unknown at the time, this girl called Cynthia Erivo. I remember us talking about what a blessing it was that we didn't go in the West End, because we got to see this girl.... even though we were extra,ely tired and were to face an hour sitting in the underground train to go home, we decided to go to the stage door to say hi.... she was marvellous!!!! super nice, not bothered by stopping and talking to us, and then I remember us saying ng, Ok, see you soon in the West End!.... we git that right, nope, more than right...she not o only got to the West End, she made Hollywood and the USA casting directors fall in love with her, she did a lot of stuff, some series on TV, theatre, and now.... she is playing Elphaba in the Wicked movie!!!!!!!! our most loved musical after Hair , and Ariana Grande (playing Glinda in the movie) has been one of my daughter's idols since she was a young girl and Ariana Grande was in Disney...we can't wait to see the movie (I think Christmas?) so, here it is the photo of Sarita with Cynthia Erivo at the stage door South Wimbledon
