Journaling:
This is a tradition I hope I don’t soon have to give up.
Every year, after
putting out all the presents under the tree on Christmas Eve,
I always go
and tuck my “babies” in and kiss them good night and take their picture
as
they sleep. These pictures have taken on the fond name of “Visions of
Sugarplums”
pictures and the kids always laugh at how they look when they
are asleep.
This is the first year that I don’t have one of of these photos
of all three of my kids,
because this year Joshua was still up and around when
I went to bed!
He stayed up very late and helped us arrange the gifts
around the Christmas tree,
and of course he had to shake his to
be able to say he was the first one to see them.
He even helped do some rearranging of living room furniture to help make room for it all
in the middle of the night But I’m not willing to give up just yet.
Next year
I will make sure he goes to bed at least
before I do so I can keep this
sweet tradition going as long as I
poossibly can!
