For Christmas 2019, Sarita DD, handed me a couple of pieces of papers that read Surprise Outing. One was to see Adam Kay live on stage, we had read the book and loved it, is called This is Going to Hurt. The other was tickets to see the Musical Waitress, but not just any day, the opening day for Sara Beirelles herself (she wrote music and lyrics, if you don't know her music, oh you should google her, she is amazing)and Gavin Creel, who is one of our most favorite musicals performer, we had seen him in a few when the Broadway cast comes to England. They were to be in the main roles for 6 weeks only, the tickets Sarita had bought 6 months in advance to get opening day, and here is when you feel our Guardian Angels at work, two weeks after we saw them, the pandemic blew the world and they had to close down, which means people who had tickets for the last 3 weeks didn't get to see them, The photos are dark, but at least good enough to show we were there. I would add a smiley here but this system doesn't like symbols or long text LOL
