Center Journaling reads: We got new insurance this year thru Jeremy's work & it royally effed up my xolair injections I get every 4 weeks for my hives/CIU. New insurance wont let my allergy Dr do them like the last 3 years. That took 3 weeks to figure out. So referral to Providence Pharmacotherapy. Then they had to submit approval to new insurance. 3 more weeks. Another appt to teach me how to do injections at home (like I don't know how since I do them at work all the time!) and submit the rx to be filled at the only specialty pharmacy my insurance will allow. 10-14 business days to fill the rx. I also have to have an epi pen rx filled to make sure I don't have a reaction to a med I've been taking for 3 years. Rx finally approved & get a phone call from the specialty pharmacy RN to go over ALL the exact same information I did at the previous appt. Just as the light was shining from the end of the tunnel- I get a phone call to fill the rx, buy they (continued in credits:)
