Created for "Hygge- Hold", using SSD Collab "Holiday Hustle".
Text: On our first Christmas as a family, I painted baby Bethany's hand and foot red and began a long tradition... Nathan joined us two Christmas later and we added green to our mix. Every year for the next fifteen years the kids stamped our tree-skirt with their growing hand- and footprints, and I carefully added their names and the date.
So much has changed since those early days. My babies are bigger then me now, "Bethany" is now "Adam", we've run out of space to add more prints, and I finally finished the tree-skirt by adding a Christmasy binding to it. It's a treasure to me, though. A reminder that though things change and babies grow up, the memories still linger close during this special season.
