Journaling: Growing up, I lived in several different places. But it all started in the small town of Santa Anna, TX. It’s funny cuz I don’t remember much about the house except that it was blue, had a storm cellar, and a pecan tree. But I’ve always had a special attachment to the house nevertheless. I remember telling my mom when she was selling it that I wanted it (I was 5 or 6), she asked me what I would do with an old, run-down house and I replied that I was going to marry a carpenter so he could fix it!
