It all started on April 16th, 1993! Exactly 1 day after tax day. I went shopping at Target and then had an appt at the hospital where they decided to keep me because my water broke. Funny thing was Grandpa Denny showed up before Dad because dad had a hard time getting off the ship! They put me on a bunch of drugs, gave me an epidural and then put a little monitor on your head so they could keep track of you while I was in labor. Well you showed up at 0324 {with lots of drama before making your entrance into this world} with the cord wrapped around your neck twice and you were completely gray {as dad put it}. But you came out of it fine and we went home the next day and then headed to the San Diego Zoo with Grandpa Denny and boy did I feel crappy after walking for 4 hours 2 days post partum! But we found a great babysitter and I went back to work at 6 weeks. We went and saw all kinds of things your 1st year, spent your 1st XMAS in Oregon, went to Mexico, dad gave you your 1st chocolate popsicle, Dad also gave you your 1st taste of popcorn, had your 1st airplane ride all the way to VA and had your 1st trip to Disneyland. You loved to look at yourself in any mirror that you could find whether it was on our headboard or on the sliding closet door! You had the cutest tutti fruitti pajamas that I bought at Target {that I still have in a box} and hope you can put your little girl in them one day! I also saved all the little cute outfits and blankets that Grandma Lee made for you. So you could pass them on to your kids. I can’t believe that that was 18 years ago and time has gone by so quickly. I hope you enjoy looking through all these old photos and see how much we loved you!
