We LOVE Halloween. I didn't have it growing up, but enjoyed so much Sarita's ones, we did dress up, make up, Trick or treat, the lot, It was fun, but if you ask me about the most terrifying stormy night, I don't associate with Halloween but one summer night in Brazil, January 2005. It was raining lots and the air was terribly dense. Something happened in the village, probably one of the trucks delivering beer or fizzy drinks run over the lecky poles and...the whole village is on black out. Our friend Raquel is staying with us, this is a fierce woman, afraid of virtually nothing...but when that female frog leaped out of nowhere, jumping jumping a brick wall that divided the 2 back bedrooms (Think almost 6 feet, internal wall, we don;t make them up to roof beams or the heat would be oppressive, you need ventilation there) and we heard the sound, it landed o the toilette seat lid, Raquel jumps into the bed under the mosquito net and re4fuses to leave for the duration.....I go look, and here she is, this female frog, skinny and with legs so long and eyes that are terrifying, looking at you in total arrogance (can't think of a better word) so, yes, never mind snakes or spiders or whatever, but never ever again put me near one of these... I always tell the story of the night I look into the eyes of God, when I knew what Faith and Hope really mean, the first night when Sarita was born, I had my own (great, as I worked there!) bedroom after the C Section. I kept crying (of happiness) the feeling so overwhelmingly beautiful that I can't give it in words....well, think that, the awesomeness of seeing the love of God into the eyes of this not so tiny human (I am small, she was born 3.600 kg).... I am now convinced the frog was trhe eyes of evil. Lucky me, never encountered one of these again, but that night will always remain in our memories as the stormy, dark, almost terrifying night. I know the page doesn't quiet reflects, but I still haven't managed the EHD restore, and I LOVE this photo of hers...I wont use a stock photo unless I am with no other option or is an art journal page, was gonna add some frogs but forgot... :)

The kit I used is Studio Basic & Little Butterfly Wings : WitchScape, which if I am not mistaken is half price still today-

Super fun layout and story! I love the photo, the page design, the arrows, the way you did the title, the clusters and everything else that's going on in your layout. Beautiful work, as always!

This layout totally stood out for me...I love Halloween too (not celebrating it though) and this layout with the red/yellow and purple just caught my eye. I love the circular flow of your layout. Great job! ♥

3.6 kg can't believe that?!!! How did you carry that on your frame?! No wonder a c/s :) LOVE the title because Sarita looks so beautiful here - what a precious memory and gift. Love the circular design too!

Wonderful use of the arrows pointing at the photo, your journaling, and the key words that make a subtitle around the design.
