Show Me Your Holiday Cards

I made these back in October thinking, "hey I'll get an early start!" And now the PSD has just sat and sat on my desktop because I'm not certain I love them. I had a test one printed and I liked it alright, but IDK....

Kjersti, you are so brilliant!! Cropping a template is a fabulous idea! Would it be totally tacky if I just duplicate your card? :) I'm off to grab that template set from Cindy!

I love it how it's shown on the card. The first option then. Seems nicely balanced, visually.

BEAUTIFUL card, BTW. But we've learned to expect as much from you, eh? ;-)
 
I didn't get my pictures taken in time, so I had to go with what I already had. I'm not super happy but it is what it is since I had to send it to WHCC and make sure I had time to get them back! I did a 5x5 folded card, so this is the front and back.

Gosh, I love this hon! I live for shaped cards, and I love that you matted it. And I'm obsessed with that kit. Win, win, win! :)
 
Here's mine. Is it wrong that I derive so much pleasure from sending my sister a super religious Christmas card when I know she tries so hard to be PC and not mention any holiday at all in or on her cards?! She gets offended on behalf of nameless faceless hypothetical people WAY too easily. :p

I had mine all done... and John just decided he doesn't like it, not even a little, so I have to redo it.
 
here's mine. i had them printed at winkflash in matte and i really love how they turned out. that's dani's fa la la kit

I'm excited about mine this year! Love the pics and think I got a good mix of digital elements without overwhelming the photos...

Front side (the card folds like an accordion, the pic with the chalkboards will be the cover)

As a non-Christian myself, I just don't get why people even get offended. I send and receive Christmas cards every single year. It is the thought that counts. I certainly wouldn't get offended on someones else's behalf, but yeah, we're not all nameless, faceless people either. ;)
 
Oh, I realize there are non-Christian people in the world, but I know everyone that my sister sends cards to, and not a one of them is non-Christian.

Most of them are either people who used to attend our childhood church or still do (as does she). That's why I think it's so funny that she's trying so hard to be PC when she doesn't send a single card to someone who has a different (or none at all) religion than she does and then tries to be offended for all the people that she thinks are receiving my cards that are not Christian.

She's just one of those people who brags abt being 'openminded' when she actually means 'openminded except towards any thoughts or beliefs that I don't have.' :p I'm much more openminded than she is, but because I'm a 'super' Christian who sends out religious cards, she thinks I can't be openminded at all.
 
So many great cards here! I'm planning to take photos on Sunday, but even with a bribe my chance of getting something usable is probably 50%. I'd really like to have all of them together, but if not I'll settle for individual photos that I already have.

I send "Warm winter wishes" or Happy New Year cards because we're not Christian and at least half the people I send to aren't either. But I certainly don't get offended if I get a religious Christmas card, LOL.
 
Everyone's cards are AWESOME!!! So much inspiration here!!! I just finished up on the boys' pictures yesterday and almost finished with the card!!!
 
Here's the one I am sending out this year!!

The oldest two weren't really excited about getting their picture taken but Derek sure was a ham!!! He LOVED sitting in the sleigh!!

these cards are really all so fab! i'm currently working on mine - but after THREE photoshoots to try and get a picture, i think i'm about to give up! LOL! i may just use a picture from the beach this summer that i like and so something non-holiday ... we'll see!
 
Finally got mine uploaded for printing. I'm sending out 140 this year, so I can't afford a really nice printer - Costco it is. And, it's always such a PAIN to get a picture with the whole family - and DH always has that lame "smile" on his face. Anyway - it turned out decent if not fabulous.

That's Misty's Christmas Joy. I haven't done a layout with it (yet), but I LURVE that green BG paper that I used on my card. The whole kit is yummy!

I just finished mine up tonight. I used Julie Billingsley's A Joyous Christmas and a template from Cindy Schneider's All in one Card Template set 2, plus a tag from KCB. I love how they turned out.

They are all beautiful! I'm having a hard time trying to decide what pic to use, and also I've been in a scrap funk, so I have no creativity flowing lately :(
