Aww *big hugs* ladies. I wish I could stress to you how difficult this was. There were no clear cut favorites really. It took me FOREVER to choose my votes because I just couldn't narrow it down.

I don't think the official announcement of the new babes will be made til next Saturday, so there will be a little more waiting. Sorry! *HUGS*

You know, Libby, you could make me feel much better if you offered me a spot on your personal team. Much, much better. Actually, I would be so happy, I would forget about the whole SugarBabe thing. ;)
 
I got a no too...didnt think Id make it though but it was defenitely worth a try!! Im open to any individual teams though!! (anyone in my siggy plus all the other designers here)
 
I got a no too. Congrats to those who made it. I hope that my gallery just stood out to the designers and maybe I'll get the chance to work with some of them again. As always I'm always open to join teams here. Until then I'll keep dishing out money, doing the challenges, and being part of this awesome store :)
 
this was definitely one of the hard ones. Lots of great aps. We have so many talented girls that call SSD home. :wub: Thanks for applying girls. I say it everytime, but don't let it get you down. I applied for the Babe spot 3 or 4 times (I've lost track, LOL) before I got it. (yes, I used to be a babe for those that didn't know me back then). I've sat in your computer chair and read that same letter. Please know that you are awesome and that we loved admiring your gallery. Keep up with your beautiful work, we do notice. Love ya all, now go celebrate America and your awesomeness. :)
 
I got a no too. I wasn't surprised, but it is still a little sad.

I'm not sure it helped knowing they added 7 instead of 3... I had a *slightly* better chance and still didn't get it.

It's okay though, I haven't been as active or scrapped as much since having my baby, and I'm sure that's part of it. Oh well, maybe 4th or 5th times a charm (I can't remember how many times I've applied now!)

At least I'm in good company!
 
I'm surprised at some of the no's! I got mine too :( Sad but I'm sooo not leaving SSD or getting upset because of it ;)

Can't wait to see who the new babes are!
 
I got a no too. Makes me sad but, know that there will be some AWESOME girls invited and the decision was hard.

But, I am definitely open for any spots if they open up! I would love to CT either guest or permanent for any of the Sweet Shoppe designers!!! I love all of you!!!!
 
I so agree with you ladies! In honor of the moment, I actually scrapped a page to remind me to be happy and that SSD will always be my digi home. :)

Here's to all you fabulous ladies to keep smiling as well, and keep loving SSD. :)
 
I also got a no, but I'm not surprised and I'm not sad. I would never dream of leaving SSD because of it either. I love it here too much. One day, they'll want me. ;) (Yes, I'm delusional.) But if any designer wants me now, I'm available. :) And I can't wait to see who the new Babes are and be dazzled by their inspiration.
 
I don't think anyone said in this thread they were leaving because of the decisions that were made. But it's ok for those of us who've tried several times to be sad too, right? :)

I can't wait to see who it is, I'm sure they will represent the store in wonderful ways, and I hope it's some of the great girls I have in my mind :thumbup:
 
I totally agree Jamie. I never once said that I was leaving SSD, but after five times applying, it does sting to get the no, especially for those of us who are VERY active here.

This is a business and the designers had to choose who THEY felt would best represent SSD and their businesses.
 
Just wanted to add that I'd be interested in a guest or full-time gig on one of our lovely designers' CTs ... should the opportunity present itself. ;)
 
I applied just because I'd kick myself if I didn't, but was expecting the no, so it wasn't really sad, KWIM? But a freebie alpha or something with the "no" would sweeten the deal! ;) I can't wait to see who is joining the babes and look forward to more inspiration!

I'll just continue being thrilled that Darcy will have me! :)
