Weekend Warm-Up | LCW with a Twist - Win a $25 Gift Certificate!

That photo is wonderful! We've been having storms and a tornado warning yesterday, but it's all strong winds, gross rain, and no rainbow 🤣
My son is on his first day of summer holidays and I do not understand where the time is going... Let's hope the weather cooperates soon so that at least it feels like summer!

I hope the weather cooperates for your son's summer holiday!!
We're in northern Illinois and have missed a lot of the bad stuff - southern Illinois got hit pretty hard though.
Crazy weather this year!

Almost time for the weekend! Even though weekends are family time around here, they seem to be filling up way too fast! We thought things would calm down after our crazy April/May. Currently July's calendar has nothing but a bill on it! We shall see how long that lasts!

Amazing pic, Jill! That will make a gorgeous scrap page!
Our youngest granddaughter had a softball game last night and on the way home we hit a little storm and ended up being in the right place at the right time and my hubby was kind enough to pull over off of the road so I could snap a bunch of photos.

For those of you having trouble with Topsy-turvy ....I paired Topsy-turvey with "Unfiltered" and made a photoless LO about losing my mom. Maybe you have an event in your life that turned your world upside down that you could scrap. I wasn't very specific in my journaling, but I hope this meets the challenge:

@Romajo can't wait to see your Disney LOs! It's been waaayy to long since I was there!

@Tiffany B can't wait to see your LOs with pictures from Olympic National Park. I had to google it! Looks amazing!

The weather has been beautiful here in PA and I have been neglecting housework and gardening instead. We really need rain, so I'm hoping we get some tonight. A few times the forecast called for 80 percent chance of rain....and we got nothing! so we shall see if they are correct in forcasting rain for tonight.

I'm so sorry for your loss. it is the hardest thing I've ever been through. This was exactly what I was thinking about doing. I hope you don't mind me borrowing from your idea. My unfiltered part will be definitely blurred but I wanted to be unfiltered kind of honest with it.

We are experiencing lots of storm here in Central Canada. Lots of flooding week after week and the devastation with crops are everywhere. Then we will have to worry about the forest fires in a few weeks (hoping the rain helps this year!)

Having issues with topsy turvy as well
I found a photo of our back patio as we were reorganizing, and I thought, now that is some topsy turvy happening! I have to admit, it was stumping me before. I know that I want to stay with the spirit of the challenge, and the Sweet Shoppe wonderful peeps, want us to scrap! So it is a win win situation! ♥

I can't speak for anyone else, but I really love seeing all of the incredible ways that people interpret the challenges- especially the outside-of-the-box ones. I know they're a bit harder to nail down, but I am always so blown away when I look at a layout and go: wow! I never would have thought of that!

Whew. Just got home last night from a big trip to the PNW where we explored ONP. From the time we pulled out to the time we got back home we drove 2,803 miles which cost us close to $1000 in gas because we had to take the truck to fit everyone and all our luggage. It was a great trip and we saw some amazing an beautiful things. Now I am ready to catch up on some scrapbooking :)

Ugh, I'm sorry! We've had tornadoes, and flooding. We'll see how the corn fields fair. My garden hasn't decided if it likes it or not.
But, we don't have to worry about the fires typically. I'm sorry you do.

The outside the box choices are fun and so much easier on my brain then the others. I like to see how others scrap them as well.

I had a long weekend and had the best intentions to scrapbook. Instead, I spent time with my 20-yr old driving me crazy doing a large Costco trip and it stormed. Day 2 was a hot as heck pool party for her bestie's 2 yr old at noon. We are in FL and it was feeling like 100 degrees. Then we celebrated Father's Day with fun events. I am exhausted and need a redo. And to top things off my AC (which is only a few year old) is struggling with the FL heat index today and frozen up.

So far I only got 4 of the 15 C&C challenges done... that means I only have 8 days for 11 more... well maybe I go for only 8 this month.
In preparation if the heat wave that's going to hit the Netherlands, we put up the pool last weekend. So far, I only stood in it and didn't take a real swim/dip (pool is knee deep, so just standing in it still cools you off). Maybe today I take a real dip...
Still reminiscing out Disneyland Paris trip from last week. I'm glad we were there last week though, since temperatures are rising high in France, even hogher than we get overhere.

I just watched the last bit of a WK soccer game with the A/C on...I've that it can be up to 38/40 degrees Celsius in the next couple of days. We are not used to weather like that over here in the Netherlands 😵‍💫

What are you making @anneofalamo ?

I did a quick Google conversion, and your temps are like ours. We hit 106 degrees F = 40.5 C. We have low, low humidity, a dry heat.

I have a few projects going, because I get bored;
1. temperature C2C (gonna do C&C page for degrees and paper page) this is a year-long project, but I'm almost 1/2 done!

2. a fairy dress for a precious 4 year old (I am just finishing the yoke)

3. a new fancy granny square blanket for a newborn (frogged it 4 times today).I have middle done, and doing lavender instead of pink.

4. a scrap yarn sweater (have to do arms and trim) This is a labor of pure love,
