phew - I thought it was me! haha. My son was having issues getting online for his virtual viola lesson... nothing was working.
 
Interesting - I just noticed. The got trashed on 60 Minutes last night. Hopefully they are down for improvements!
 
Who broke it?! LOL I was trying to refresh a feed and was wondering what happened...checked for update, even restarted my phone. Glad it isn't just me. :) Means more scrapping, less distractions.
 
Now I have to work on Shutterfly albums... man, it's going soooo slow. up to a minute per layout to load onto the page in the album... it's taking me 4 hours to do one album as it crashes all the time. Must get this done for unlimited pages.
 
I could go down so many rabbit holes with pinterest this morning... or I could use it to help inspire a new kit...
 
I'm at work and they're both blocked so I didn't even realize, lol. Granted I can switch to data on my phone as I have way more of that than I ever need.
 
I was cursing it out...lol I can't promote my pages with it down! I too thought it was me. Didn't realize how reliant I was on FB until this. Well not FB itself but messenger. I need another way to contact some of my friends.
 
I had to look it up to make sure I wasn't thrown in Facebook Jail......LOL
As much as I hate wasting my time on FB, I am having a lowkey panic attack without it. Thank Goodness for needing to finish up some DSD things here to keep me occupied ;)
 
Yeah, I was getting on to check on the happy birthday messages on my feed (yes, today is my birthday) and kept getting the message that there was a typo in the url.

Guess the only messages I will get are those that were posted before it went down. LOL

One article I read said that with whatsapp also being down, it is affecting lots of workers that use it to communicate on work stuff. And, the outage is world wide.

Yes I noticed too but needed to grab a kit from one of my designers from there! It was still in my old feed on my phone so I was able to email it to myself. lol so silly to be so reliant on those social media.

We were just talking about this over lunchtime. Whatsapp is down as well and we can't communicate with our friends in other countries. Thankfully a lot of us do have each other's cell numbers to text back and forth to one another. But goodness with messenger free and on the computer, it's a million times than resorting to finding my phone and using the tiny buttons to talk! :D

a few mins ago... some saying they were hacked... but they won't confirm...



A company spokesperson said that it apologised for the problem but gave no indication of why the outage began or how long it might take to fix.
“We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products,” spokesperson Andy Stone said on Twitter. “We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
 
my BFF and I talk all day every day on messenger..... we both agree we wouldn't have made it through the past almost 2 years without our chats...... we don't have a backup plan..... when things are back up and running we NEED to make a backup plan.

And that obviously can't be WhatsApp, they are down too, which is how me and my bestie chat. This sucks! Remember back in the day when there used to be so many different messengers.
 
I think the last time I had a different messenger was back in 2009 when AIM was still live. Then slowly the chats moved to facebook.
